Chief® brand products are now available for immediate delivery from the new sales office and warehouse in Hong Kong, providing enhanced support for the region.

Milestone AV Technologies, a leading designer and manufacturer of Chief® and Sanus Systems® audiovisual mounting equipment, announces the opening of a dedicated sales office and warehouse in Hong Kong. The new operation stocks Chief products for enhanced service to commercial AV dealers throughout Asia Pacific. The sales office will be staffed with both Chief and Sanus Systems brand sales expertise.

The new Milestone office and warehouse is the second location in the Asia Pacific region, joining a sales and operations team based in Shenzhen, China. Together, the two locations will facilitate product sourcing and all regional sales efforts for the Chief and Sanus brands, delivering on an ongoing commitment to innovative products and responsive customer service.

Sanus Systems is pleased to announce that the VisionMount® LR1A recessed in-wall box for use with flat-panel TV wall mounts has won a 2007 Product of the Year award from Electronic House magazine. The in-wall box, made of heavy gauge steel, allows a flat-panel TV to sit nearly flush with the wall, hiding mounting hardware and providing a clean appearance.

The LR1A was selected based on technological innovation, outstanding features and overall value, said a representative for the magazine.

The LR1A is installed by cutting a hole in the sheetrock between two wall studs and easily securing the box to the studs using the patented Quick Shims™. The LR1A is used in combination with either a Sanus VisionMount VM400 or LRF118 full-motion wall mount.

Touch-free mounting solution provides remote convenience and viewing flexibility

Sanus Systems announces that it now offers an automated wall mount for large flat-panel TVs. The Sanus VisionMount® LA112 full-motion wall mount, backed by CLO Systems, LLC technology, provides flexible mounting solutions and the convenience of adjusting the viewing angle of the TV with a remote control.

“We are excited to bring this superior touch-free mounting technology to our customers,” said Jim Wohlford, general manager of Sanus Systems. “The LA112 fits a consumer need that is also easy for AV professionals to integrate with home automation systems.“

The LA112 offers advanced motorized features including 20-degree down tilt, 7-degree up tilt, 28-degree side-to-side swivel, and up to 12 inches of extension for optimal viewing. In addition, the mount sits just 4.6 inches from the wall when fully retracted. Four programmable settings allow favorite viewing angles to be saved and set at the touch of a button.

The mount also features an internal cable management system and comes with a universal remote control with TV, DVD and mount control functions. Flexible bellows surround the mount's interior, protecting mechanical components and providing a decorative appearance. An IR receiver and RS-232 port are included. The LA112 fits virtually any flat-panel TV from 40 to 63 inches in width and up to 180 lbs. It is currently available and lists for $1199 USD.

Chief® Manufacturing, the industry leader in flat panel TV and projector mounts, introduces a new series of state-of-the-art in-wall swing arm mounts. Designed for 26-63” flat panel TVs up to 200 lbs (90.7 kg), the new MIWRF and PIWRF Series allow perfect TV placement during installation without the need to retrofit existing wall structures. Simply cut out the drywall at the desired wall location and install the new in-wall box.

The new in-wall solution offers the industry’s first fully integrated, pre-assembled in-wall mounts, fitting flush inside the wall with a low-profile finish.
