Community Involvement
Milestone is committed to enhancing our community involvement efforts to truly make a difference in the communities where we live and work.
One of Milestone's key initiatives is to give back to our community and help those who need it most. The Milestone Community Connections Team, along with a network of volunteers throughout the organization, will sponsor organizations and events, giving special consideration to programs and activities in which Milestone employees are involved. Two of Milestone's key areas of focus are: Children & Youth and Poverty & Hunger.
Some of Our Recent Activities and Contributions
Ronald McDonald House Charities provides a caring community for families with seriously ill children. To support the organization, Milestone donated hand-decorated bags with breakfast foods and snacks for families, and helped clean and organize the Ronald McDonald House in Minneapolis.
Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity is committed to building the quality of life, health and prosperity of the region through the production and preservation of homeownership. Each year Milestone employees participate in a Habitat build to help construct a house for a family in need.
As the largest hunger relief organization in the Upper Midwest, Second Harvest Heartland's goal is to help our hungry neighbors today and provide the means for everyone to be fed tomorrow. In 2011 Milestone collected 1,030 pounds of food for the organization and raised cash donations that will be converted to 925 meals.
