Community Involvement
Milestone is committed to enhancing our community involvement efforts to truly make a difference in the communities where we live and work. One of Milestone's key initiatives is to give back to our community and help those who need it most.
The Milestone Community Connections Team, along with a network of volunteers throughout the organization, will sponsor organizations and events, giving special consideration to programs and activities in which Milestone employees are involved. Two of Milestone’s key areas of focus are: Children & Youth and Poverty & Hunger.
Some of Our Recent Activities and Contributions
Bolder Options is an activity-based, one-to-one youth mentoring program, aimed at building self-esteem and encouraging healthy habits in 10 - 14 year old youth. 30+ Milestone runners/walkers helped fund new running shoes and a 5K registration for at-risk kids.
An independent, not-for-profit health care system, Children’s Hospitals & Clinics provide care through inpatient visits, emergency room and outpatient visits. Through in-kind mount donations, Milestone played a part in transforming the patient experience with private rooms designed for kids.
CLUES provides services that advance and enhance the quality of Latino's lives in Minnesota, so they are financially, mentally and physically healthier. Milestone donations will help families become stronger through education, financial empowerment and employment assistance.
